Our dear friends Cholena Smart and John Bryant at Mammoth Geospatial, long-time Dawson residents and huge fans of the annual Ice Pool, have been compiling data and maintaining a Yukon River break-up website over the years. That site is full of information and cool interactive charts for historical break-ups and environmental data, along with panoramic shots of the Yukon River in front of Dawson dating back to 2009 from contributors Sebastian Jones, Sebastien Weisser, and others.
