IODE DAWSON SCHOLARSHIP
The IODE Dawson Chapter offers one $750 scholarship every year. Eligible candidates include any resident of Dawson City who plans to further their education, in any field of study, in a certificate, diploma, degree, trades in-school training, or other education/training.
The selection committee will consider the academic commitment, personal character, citizenship, leadership, and career goals of applicants.
Application Process
As an applicant for the IODE Dawson Chapter Scholarship, you should submit:
• the application form;
• proof of acceptance from educational institute;
• a short personal statement outlining your educational and career goals, how your studies will provide future benefits to the community of Dawson, and your intention to remain in or return to Dawson City;
• a letter of recommendation which speaks to your personal character, work ethic and commitment to education and career goals.
Confirmation of Scholarship Award
Scholarship recipients will be advised of their award in December 2025.
Applicants who are unsuccessful in the 2025-26 scholarship program will also be notified.
