If we sell out of our tickets/books before April 15th, we will stop accepting payments and notify you by email that your guesses were not entered in the Ice Pool.

Rules & Conditions

  • The date of the draw is to be when the ice moves the tripod on the Yukon River in Dawson City, Yukon in the spring of 2026.

  • A maximum of 3300 tickets are to be sold for $3.00 each.

  • No tickets will be sold after 11:59pm on April 15th.

  • There will be a tripod set up on the ice with a wire attached to the top of the tripod connected to a powered clock on shore.

  • The winner of the ice pool is the person (or persons) who guess the closest to the time the river moves the tripod sufficiently to pull the wire and stop the clock - to the nearest minute. If more than one person guesses the closest time, the prize will be split evenly among the winners.

  • Tickets cannot be sold or advertised outside of the Yukon.

PRIZE: 50% of the gross sales or $999.00 - whichever is larger.
